Leeward Islands Warned To Watch Hurricane Bill

CaribWorldNews, MIAMI, FL, Weds. Aug. 19, 2009: Nationals in the Leeward Islands are being warned to monitor Hurricane Bill, which last night became a category two storm.

The National Hurricane Center issued the warning yesterday as Bill increased to near 125 mph Tuesday night. The storm is the first of the Atlantic season.

As of last night, Hurricane Bill was centered about 635 miles east of the Leeward Islands.The storm seemed to pose a threat to Bermuda, especially, which it could pass in three or four days.
